Last Friday our communication workshop went to Tarrytown in the afternoon. We had to take the north train along the Hudson River from Grand Central Station to get there. Even though it was cold we had a wonderful day. We learned many things there like the first European settlers of Tarrytown were Dutch farmers and later this town became a favorite residence for many rich New Yorkers.
I like Tarrytown a lot because you feel like you are in a different quiet and relaxing place than the crowded city of New York. In this town you can enjoy the trees, the leaf the air and appreciated more the beautiful of the fall in New York, so if you want to escape from New York it takes you 20 minutes by train to see the beautiful view of Tarrytown on the Hudson River.
