A privilege island (Andres Gutierrez) is

Governors Island is one of the most privileged places in New York City. For me, it was always a mysterious place because in different trips that I took next to the island, I could see beautiful houses but nobody living there. When we decided to visit the island my mind changed. First, starting with a cheap and short trip on a ferry the surprise begin. Turn around and see the amazing view of Manhattan, Brooklyn bridge can make you feel special living in the concrete jungle.

When you arrive at the island, time stops, you can walk through the fort, old houses, and a beautiful castle where you can learn a lot of history of New York.

The surprises continue when you see that the island is an art museum, in every corner modern art is present, and you can spend all day walking, renting a bike, or having a picnic with the lovely view of the Statue of Liberty.
